James de Mierre has always had a somewhat of an interest in nature. Experiences such as writing poetry during lockdown, and being able to go on walks in his suburban area has shaped this love for nature. However, having half an hour walks to school during high school has pinnacle for his connection, helping him to see suburban nature around him almost everyday. James then went to start advocating and sharing his voice for nature through Suffolk Wildlife Trust Youth Board, and the Upcoming Generation Nature Podcast.
